I have purchased several of these battery chargers for our sony handycams on ebay over the years. I have personally been very pleased in the way that they work. They are very portable and lightweight. Some come with a car charger as well, i personally have never used them..If you are looking for a battery charger for your sony handycam, I would recommend giving these a try, they seem to work very well..

I bought my sony battery off ebay, Its the 8 hour battery w/ the meter on it that you can check w/o having it connected to the camcorder, Very handy in testing it. Its been in my camcorder for over 6 months and I tested it 2 weeks ago and its still charged completely. Gotta love ebay Wink, Got it for 10 bux.
