The Wilson Plaza historical development started in 1927. In 1951 Mr. Wilson built a 17-story office tower with a four-story penthouse. After Mr. Wilson's death in 1957, Mrs. Wilson hosted society, civic, bridge and debutante functions in the penthouse. Today the Tower is said to still be inhabited by Mrs. Wilson, overseeing what goes on in the building. Many Tenants have witnessed shadows and sounds while alone in their offices, especially in the early mornings or late nights. Elevators also have unusual happenings. Stopping on different floors that are not lighted up, with an eerie feeling of someone else catching a ride with you.
